What We Do For Your Special Day
With Beehive Hair Studio’s professional team and their abundant years of experience, we will create breathtaking up-dos and heart-stopping makeup to help make your wedding day beautiful.
If you would like to schedule wedding day services, we ask that you read more about our services and policies below. We also ask that you complete the form below. To guarantee your appointment date(s) and service(s), you will also need to submit a deposit of 50% of the total cost for all services.
Consultation (mandatory for brides)
What we will do during the consultation:
- Discuss your hair and makeup needs.
- Schedule a practice run and wedding day services.
- Review our contract and cancellation policies.
Note: Since weekend dates are always in short supply, we recommend you book your wedding services at least 6 months in advance.
Practice Run for the Bride
The practice run is required to be scheduled 2 to 4 weeks prior to your wedding.
What you should bring to the practice run:
- Everything your will wear on your big day (veil, jewelry, etc.).
- Pictures of makeup and different hairstyles that interest you for the makeup artist and hair stylist to consider.
Wedding Day Hair and Makeup
We will recreate the look we achieved during your practice run. Please remember that everyone in your wedding party is welcome to join us for services on your wedding day.
Special requirements for the bridesmaids and her wedding party:
- Please arrive for your appointment with DRY hair.
- Please arrive for your services on time and (if possible) at the same time.
- Please consider our guests who are scheduled after you.
- When necessary, a shampoo will be done at the salon by the stylist.
- Wearing a button down shirt is recommended.
We also offer an on-site bridal services for the day of your wedding – ask your stylist for pricing.
Securing Appointment Date
All bookings for weddings are made on a “first-come-first-served” basis. It is advised that you call Beehive Studio first to see if the desired day is available. Your appointment date(s) and service(s) will be guaranteed when you complete the form below and submit a deposit of 50% of the estimated total for all services.
All services are priced on Beehive’s Bridal Menu and include the use of professional hair, makeup products and supplies. If you require the use of any clip-in extensions, headpieces, hair accessories, or flowers, we ask that you bring them with you to your appointment. Additional time may be scheduled to accommodate these accessories, and charges and may apply.
In-Salon Services and Payment
If your wedding day services are performed at the hair studio, your balance can be paid by cash or credit card at the conclusion of your appointment.
On-Site Services and Payment
The Beehive Hair Studio Team is capable of traveling to your wedding day location in Kendall and Bexar Counties to perform hair styling and makeup services. Off-site services require that the balance of your wedding agreement be held via credit card, which will be charged the morning of your wedding date; however, if you wish to use cash to pay the balance, you must do so two weeks (14 days) in advance of the reserved date.
Prices are subject to change as styling needs change or services are added.
All agreements will be made in writing. Wedding date and time, service date, time of arrival in salon, estimated time of completion, names of guests to be styled and service descriptions will be mailed or emailed. Any changes/additions to guests or services after the contract is signed must be submitted in writing; no changes will be made over the telephone.
Please try to arrive at Beehive Hair Studio 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment. A $15 charge will be added to any member of the party arriving 10 or more minutes late. Wedding parties are scheduled strictly according to the contract. We might not be able to accommodate a late arrival. If the wedding party is more than an hour late without contacting us, the assumption is the client is a no-show. In this case, the client forfeits all deposits, payments, and THE CREDIT CARD GIVEN FOR THE DEPOSIT WILL BE CHARGED FOR EVERY SERVICE THAT WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE ENTIRE BRIDAL PARTY.
Cancellations 30 or more days prior to the wedding date will receive a complete refund of the deposit acquired for the estimated services. In the event that you must cancel your appointment less than 30 days prior to the reserved/wedding date, you will be held responsible for half (50%) of your deposit, but you will not be responsible for the remaining balance. Any cancellation without at least 72 hours notice, will not receive a deposit refund. Cancellations must be received in writing (e-mail is acceptable) during normal business hours and confirmed by Beehive Hair Studio.
Cancellations due to emergencies or acts of God are considered on a case-by-case basis and are completely at management’s discretion.
Other Service Providers
Any outside service providers may not use our facility to perform any services that we offer. This includes makeup artists and stylists, but feel free to invite your photographer to capture the fun “getting ready” moments.
We apologize if these policies cause any inconvenience, but they are designed to protect you, the investment you have made, respect the time of our beauty team, and needs of our other guests.
